  • One minute teasers are a waste of my time

Good podcast but posting so many one minute teasers here simply to drive me to the YouTube platform is a waste of my time. I listen to audio podcasts because i can’t drive and watch videos at the same time.

The caliber of these podcasts is very good but I don’t want to be forced to watch a YouTube and I’m disappointed that I’m now having to get this info elsewhere.

  • Clear macro

The business idea presented here is extremely unique and interesting, but Keith’s macro economics are clear and captivating. I hope this podcast gets spread around. If you like education in monetary policy, this might be the best media I’ve heard on the subject.

Keith, you should be on every podcast, from Tom Woods, Peter Schiff, Tim Cast, Dave Smith, Robert Murphy. Best of luck.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Silver Keeps Leaving COMEX (& China's Dangerously Low)
Q: What are you seeing in terms of long-term gold versus silver mix for your portfolio?
The presenters project a shift toward higher silver exposure over time, estimating possible growth to about 100 million ounces of silver versus roughly 2 million ounces of gold in their planned portfolio, and noting a historical ratio compression from around 125:1 to roughly 60:1, which supports a case for increasing silver leverage as the business scales.
Precious Metals Selloff Continues, Even As Oil Soars...
Q: Could you give us an update on the gold and silver market and your thoughts on that?
Gold and silver have fallen from their highs as the war intensified, with silver moving from around 96 dollars to well under 77, and gold also down, though still at relatively high levels; the move reflects immediate risk factors, supply concerns, and market positioning, while longer-term trajectories depend on inflation, debt dynamics, and central bank responses.
What Iran War Spreading Means For Gold Price
Q: Does the debt situation in the United States change the outlook for precious metals, and could a 'gold reset' occur?
Yes, the discussion points to rising debt and deficits as a risk factor that could support higher gold prices over time, with the possibility of a future reset or re-pricing of debt instruments influencing long-term value; the guests emphasize market-led solutions and the fragility of current fiscal dynamics.
What Iran War Spreading Means For Gold Price
Q: What is the likely impact of escalating Middle East tensions on gold and silver prices in the near term?
The hosts and Dr. Thornton suggest that heightened geopolitical risk tends to boost safe-haven demand for gold, while liquidity squeezes and fear in broader markets can weigh on equities and other assets; the overall effect is often an initial spike in precious metals followed by volatility as policy and macro conditions evolve.
Silver Wars Appear To Just Be Getting Started
Q: What should investors consider if shifts in policy and supply chains accelerate, and what general guidance would help them be ahead of the curve?
Investors should focus on areas where the West is structurally short and where capacity can be built, recognizing that price floors may persist as supply chains reorient toward domestic production and resilience. Downstream and bottom-of-the-chain opportunities—where bottlenecks exist—could provide the most reliable long-term growth as manufacturing reindustrializes.
