  • Please, Joe, support these changes

    1. MUST bring up Marchan and send down/DFA Stubbs. Marchan must then play every third game, at minimum.

    2. Start Sosa, alternating between 2nd (Stott) and short (Turner). The best would be if Sosa could play in the outfield as well. Castellanos is so inconsistent, he cannot be relied upon in the postseason! Even at his ‘best’ he will swing at the first pitch even after the pitcher just walked two guys on four pitches each! He can NOT do anything with RISP, especially with two outs! Look at Cas... more

  • Why Turner cannot bat second on THIS team

    If Rob Thompson wants Kyle Schwarber to bat lead off, fine, but we can agree if you go with an unorthodox choice to lead off—with such a low batting average etc., we all know the situation—then you have to have a really solid #2 hitter. It’s always important to have a solid #2 hitter, but especially so with Schwarber leading off. Right now, Turner is anything but solid. He’s jello, at best. I just don’t get, “we are paying him a lot, so we will ignore poor performance.” What?!?! The more they ar... more
