By far the best Eagles podcast. Great reporting and insight. The problem is there’s too much happening in one feed. DiCecco needs his own feed. Football at 4 needs its own feed or it should just be done with. Mosher and Caplan is what we want but it’s impossible to find the good episodes in the middle of all the clutter. Listened to every episode for years but just can’t find the main guys anymore with all the other stuff.

    Awesome!

    Loved the Josh Parry interview!

Turns out, everything I thought Andy Reid was doing in Philly was actually better than I imagined! So good to hear about the great influence of coaches like Ron Rivera and others who just loved the game and the guys who played it!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The DiCecco Daily: Takeaway From Eagles Coordinators' Press Conferences
Q: Ed Kratz asked Mannion about the dynamic between him and Mannion as Bay Area connections and their history.
The answer touched on their shared experiences and the mutual respect from their time at Oregon and in the Bay, emphasizing a long-standing professional rapport that benefits their collaboration.
The DiCecco Daily: Takeaway From Eagles Coordinators' Press Conferences
Q: I asked Sean Mannion about run game coordinator and what made Ryan Mahaffey the logical choice to step in and coordinate the run game.
Mannion explained that Ryan Mahaffey brings a detailed, collaborative approach and a strong background with the offensive line and tight ends, which makes him a natural fit to lead the run game within the broader offensive system.
Football at Four: DiCecco's Thursday Eagles Mailbag
Q: Any thoughts on CJ Gardner Johnson-type trades to address the safety position?
The host and Andrew express skepticism about rushing a trade, preferring to evaluate the current roster first and consider veteran or rookie deals that fit the cap and the team's needs before making a move.
Football at Four: DiCecco's Thursday Eagles Mailbag
Q: Do you see Tanner McKee traded or on the roster come training camp?
Andrew suggests that keeping four quarterbacks is unlikely given the talent depth, and McKee could have the highest trade value among quarterbacks, making a trade a plausible option while Dalton remains a potential backup.
The Intel With Greg Cosell: Tape Evaluation Of Eagles 2026 NFL Draft Haul
Q: Do you see Eli Stowers offering enough range and development to justify him as a long-term piece even though he's raw at the tight end position?
Stowers brings elite athleticism and a high learning curve; with proper coaching, his versatility as a chess-piece in a flexible offense could pay off, though his lack of range and raw tight end skills mean development will take time and the Eagles' plan will be critical.
