  • Best Eagles Pod

Truly the best eagles pod I’ve listened to. Great, level-headed analysis and insights you can’t get anywhere else. Philly sports radio can get heated, this a great place to cut through the noise.

  • Dave owes the fans an apology.

Dave, during the beginning of the Vrabel/Russini saga, made the fans seem like they were totally out of touch and compared us to Q anon for having a healthy suspicion about how this relationship may have impacted reporting and intern a potential AJ brown trade . The fans get a lot wrong, but Dave most certainly gaslit us and was clearly covering for something That he didn’t know anything about.

I wish Reuben Frank knew something about football. It’s disappointing. It’s almost like he knows less and less every year. Maybe it’s just lack of prep or early dementia. All the best with your condition!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Our 1st glimpse of 2026 Eagles at OTAs
Q: How confident are you in Jalen Hurts's ability to adjust to Sean Mannion's offense this season?
We're cautiously optimistic; Hurts seems eager to understand the why behind center concepts and play calling, which bodes well for his development and the offense's adaptability.
Looking back at Howie's offseason & ahead at the schedule
Q: What do you look for first when the schedule is released?
I look for the bye week location, then identify potential stretches of tough or favorable games, travel imbalances, and how that could affect rest and preparation across the season.
Finding roles for Eagles' 2026 draft class
Q: What do you think Mackay Lemon's rookie role will look like, and how many catches might he rack up in year one?
We expect Lemon to be a significant contributor as a rookie, likely seeing substantial time in the slot with a target of around 60-63 catches, roughly 812 yards, and a handful of touchdowns, though there's some flexibility depending on how the other receivers perform.
Reacting to some Eagles news since the draft
Q: What are the expectations for Jalen Carter's extension given the fifth-year option?
Carter is expected to get a long-term deal eventually, with analysts suggesting the 27 million on the fifth-year option is a placeholder until a broader extension is reached, likely in the off-season rather than during a season.
Going through some of Howie Roseman's draft history
Q: Why is there always drama surrounding this franchise?
The hosts argue that big personalities, a high level of success, and the market's appetite for news fuel ongoing discussion and scrutiny, amplified by out-of-the-box decisions and national media attention.
