  • The Gold Standard for The Iggles

Roob and Dave have more insight than any other Eagles pod. They add context and stats to their discussions , which is usually lacking elsewhere. They don’t always agree and I appreciate how honest and authentic they are with each other. The experience and relationships they have with Eagles present and past is so valuable , making Eagle Eye the most informative and enjoyable listen for Eagles fans. High quality hosts, content and insights. I don’t live in the Philly area anymore an... more

  • Great pod, nonsensical editing

Love the pod, but the editing is terrible. Stop splicing in ads in the middle of sentences! It's not a great listen when Roob or Dave are expressing a thought, only to be interrupted by ABC ad. There's no need for that. Just wait until the thought is complete!

  • Great!

I always look forward to the podcast coming out, and even though I only listen to true crime podcasts usually, this is my one exception. I love what Dave and Roob bring to the table, and get excited when I see a new drop in my feed. Keep up the great work!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Eagles' season ends in loss to 49ers in wild-card round
Q: Can we talk about Jalen?
He had some good plays but overall was inconsistent and underwhelming.
Reasons for optimism/concerns as Eagles enter playoffs
Q: What are the concerns for the Eagles as they head into the playoffs?
The offense has struggled to maximize talent, they can't lean on the run game as in past seasons, and there is pressure for the defense to perform flawlessly due to the offense's inconsistencies.
Reasons for optimism/concerns as Eagles enter playoffs
Q: What are the reasons for optimism for the Eagles as they enter the playoffs?
The Eagles have a championship-level defense, they're healthy and rested, and they have experienced players like Jalen Hurts and talented offensive weapons.
Getting ready for Eagles-Commanders in Week 18
Q: What is your explanation for the brutal offensive line play this year?
The health of the middle, the left guard and the center is at the root of it; once those areas recover, the line should perform better.
Getting ready for Eagles-Commanders in Week 18
Q: Should a division winner be allowed in the playoffs with a losing record?
No, I like it the way it is because I don't know how you would do it; how you would see teams. It's a rare occurrence, and I don't think it happens often enough to change the way you determine who is in the playoffs.
