  • Lacking

The loss of KVV is basically the last straw for me. I gave them a lot of leeway as the content just kept getting worse and worse. Golf analysis was great at first but then it all became the same theme over and over. If I could get KVV and kick out TC that would make me listen to NLU again. With that said, I’m happy for KVV and his new gig, to me, it’s a way better match.

  • Decent but not great

I usually only listen around the majors. Kind of a bland podcast, but especially whenever TC talks the show just comes to a screeching halt for me. Dude is just a buzzkill—so boring and whiny sounding.

  • Please balance the audio

Listening to the “Cadillac” podcast, enroute to work. Love the content. HOWEVER. Could you PLEASE balance the microphones? TC speaks in a whisper. When I turn up the volume to hear him, another panelist will speak and it just about blows my speakers (not really, but you get my point). Seriously. Please turn up the sensitivity of TC’s mike or lower the others, or fix in post. This podcast was unlistenable and that’s unfortunate, because I enjoy your content.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

1192: The Koivun Era is here + Alex Fitzpatrick interview
Q: How did Fitzpatrick describe the turning point in his own game and what changed after switching coaches?
He said changing coaches in October unlocked a missing piece, bringing more regular, structured practice and a tighter backswing. The result was better consistency and opportunities to score, especially in major events and signature routes.
1183: Best Open Championships Draft
Q: What criteria are you using to pick Open retrospectives for the board?
Judges prioritize historical significance, drama, and iconic moments, balancing sentiment with lasting impact and the narrative each pick brings to the collection.
1178: PGA Tour Announcement Reaction + KPMG Storylines
Q: What was announced today about the PGA Tour's new structure?
The Tour released a press release detailing a two-track system for 2028: a Championship Series and a Challenger Series, with a capped field around 120-130 for the Championship and a broader Challenger field; both tracks will include a mix of events with promotion and relegation-like dynamics, plus a future match-play finale to crown the season-long champion.
1180: Story Time with Rich Lerner
Q: What was the most memorable moment from your early coverage of Tiger Woods?
The most memorable moment was witnessing Tiger at Pebble Beach and later at the US Open, where his dominance appeared almost otherworldly, redefining what fans expected and how broadcasters framed the sport.
1160: Rahm, Ludvig, and 20 others trying to chase Alex Smalley down
Q: What will the leaderboard look like tomorrow given the wind and pins?
The panel expects a very tight race with many players within a few strokes and notes the potential for a dramatic, low-scoring finish if conditions cooperate.
