  • Could be great

This podcast could be great if Andy would learn how to be a host, not just a podcaster. He should learn how to ask a question concisely, create an atmosphere where the guests feel comfortable expressing their opinions and have the space to do so, and get rid of the vocal “ticks”, such as saying “like” in every other sentence. Guests such as Immelman, Doak, and Olgilvy, are what make this show worth listening to.

  • Insufferable

Content is decent. But good grief that voice couldn’t be more annoying. Sounds like a Dana Carvey SNL bit. Blow your nose or get your septum fixed or something.

  • Gators and glory

Great behind the scenes look about the history of the Players. Crazy to hear the first hand accounts about the humble beginnings, the land, the personalities (and controversies) and to see the spectacle it is today.

Q: I'm curious for you, you won a couple weeks ago on the Korn Ferry Tour, what were the nerves like for you coming down the stretch?
James describes feeling an out-of-body experience yet staying present, with his mind jumping around but ultimately focusing through practice and mental coaching to execute the final putt and clinch the win.

Experience helped a lot, but the key is staying in the present and not getting ahead of yourself. You play one shot at a time, stay mentally focused, and choose safe, smart targets when you have a lead while still pressuring the field when opportunities arise.
