This review is based only on the Woman in Black episode, as only recently discovered these podcasts. I’m a fan of The Woman in Black, I think it’s one of the scariest films ever made. The slowness of it and the fact you rarely see her, I believe adds to the tension. I’ve read the book, which is very good and they are similar except for the difference in the ending. Pure pleasure to listen to, Andy and Martin are a wonderful guide as they take you through and A to Z of great British drama. The standard of their insights and production of the podcast are superb, and anyone interested in drama on tv this is a must listen to podcasts.
I worked for Lavinia Warner & Warner Sisters in the late 90’s, so good to hear her voice again, such an supportive & creative woman. Thanks for documenting this piece of history.
