  • Thank you!

This podcast has introduced me to so many short stories and novellas that I had never heard of and should have! Today I listened to The Machine Stops by E.M. Forester. I’m blown away. Forester’s astute knowledge of human nature has predicted humanity’s march towards machination and AI take over. It was a great listen, as this podcast always is, but this one really hit home. Thank for bringing this to my attention!

  • Always Excellent Production

So many fantastic authors, so many wonderful contributions. Classic production values underpin each episode. Thank you for the opportunity to “catch up” on books/short stories, that I did not have time to read, as a younger man. Retirement has provided me with a variety of unexpected benefits, none more so than the gift of time.

  • Good

I love the narration and the stories selected but I honestly do not care for the fake accents. It’s fine to give characters different voices but the accents are a bit off putting and out dated.
