  • Not bad, just not for me.

The stories he chooses are ok (too many dead white guys) & his voice is good, if you want to use this podcast to fall asleep. However I listen to podcasts at work & would like to enjoy them. I’ve subscribed a couple of times only to unsubscribe again. Because his voice is so even, I ended up not really remembering the story he just read. It was too easy to tune out & that’s not what I want.

  • My favourite for years

I have been listening to the Classic Tales podcast for years on and off, I must have started before 2010! The reading is always excellent and the selection of books over the years has been great. Unbelievable that he has been doing this for so long and for free. Hope he keeps going for years to come!

This podcast gets you involved in a book, then stops availability of the rest of the chapters UNLESS you pay for a subscription! Don’t get involved, or you’ll disappointed. Promises and doesn’t deliver!
