  • Please don’t read racist stories

    I’ve enjoyed many of the 100+ year-old stories, such as most of those about Sherlock Holmes, very much.

    However, please remove racist stories, or, at least, edit it out the racist parts and explain that you’ve done so. “The Call of Cthulhu” should just be deleted; it’s awful. It describes Black & Brown people in incredibly ignorant and hurtful ways. Another example is “The Luck of Roaring Camp”, about an “orphaned” baby at a mining camp. The miners gave zero aid, sympathy or respect to his... more
