In the 1960s, Satanic Cinema took on a life of its own. Mostly left behind were the humorous portrayals and worn old tales that had already been told over and over again. New filmmakers were bringing the Devil to life onscreen through the works of Po... more
“To hell with them Sicilians!”
It was just an off-hand comment – a remark that was usually delivered with a smirk. Dean O’Banion and his North Siders were quick to say it. They didn’t care. The South Side mob, run by John Torrio and Al Capone, were ... more
In July of 1983, 17-year-old Kimberly McClaskey vanished while hitchhiking along Route 116 near London Mills, Illinois. The next day, her clothing and personal belongings were found floating in the Spoon River — but Kimberly was gone. Decades later, ... more

I like the stories, especially the spooky ones, and while the discussion afterward can be interesting, you guys too often go off on a (long winded) tangent. You really need to be more focused, more professional.
I can appreciate Troy’s storytelling at the start of the episodes but there’s no courtesy given to Cody during the conversations following the story. It’s very bothersome to hear Cody trying to interject his thoughts while Troy just completely overruns him and it leaves me feeling frustrated because I’m not able to focus on the information being shared. I’ll start by saying this: if Troy read the dictionary, I’d still listen.
His storytelling is incredible. Every episode is engaging, well-paced, and genuinely intriguing. I originally came for the supernatural content, but quickly realized I was hooked on every episode simply because of how well Troy tells a story.
I listen while working my second job stocking shelves, and these episodes make the time fly by. It’s something I genuinely look forward to, and honestly, I’m a little afraid of th... more
