This is a painstakingly researched podcast that shows the true human dimension of the Battle of Britain. I was privileged enough to be part of it.
I listened to the first episode yesterday and loved it. The sound snippets from the time (speeches, newsreels etc) are very immersive, and coupled with the interviews with those who were there during this period makes this a very engaging and informative podcast. Very well done, with with the story held together with great narration. I am looking forward to the future episodes 👍
Fascinating new podcast, presented by military historian Victoria Taylor. Blending her own analysis, with that of other historians, and the original words of the participants, makes for a moving and informative listen. Presented in her clear and accessible style, this podcast is interesting for the novice to battle of the Britain history, as well as challenging myths and accepted facts that will be of interest to those who think they know the story. more
