  • Long time fan; first time caller

    I’ve been watching LRR since season 11 of their sketches and the iron stomach challenge is what made me a fan for life. Through thick and thin, good times and bad, high school and college, there has always been something on this feed that made me laugh and bolstered my spirits. It can be a hard road sometimes, but these Canadian’s always make it lighter.

  • All lrr podcasts! Why not?

    Holy moly if you just listen to lrr for magic content or another thing try out everything. Small fun run series for tv shows and movies pop up all the time. It’s a lot easier than hunting down all their content and really got introduced to things I didn’t know about. Must subscribe!

Spring 2026 Q&A || TTC Ep593
Q: What is your ideal MTG yearly release schedule? How many sets, how many commander decks, and should there be more secret lairs?
They propose a cadence of four main standard sets per year, plus occasional special sets like Commander Masters or UB Commander decks, and discuss balancing storytelling with new product formats, while acknowledging fan appetite for Conspiracy-like or token-focused releases and expressing nostalgia for past draft innovation sets.
Spring 2026 Q&A || TTC Ep593
Q: You're an entrepreneur in the multiverse looking to expand your horizons. You have to pick one non-Ravnican plane to set up a business. What plane do you pick and what business do you establish there?
They brainstorm cross-plane business ideas, like opening a local game store or a gear-focused shop (e.g., farming implements) on various planes, weighing practicality, climate, and culture, and ultimately emphasize themed retail that fits the plane's identity and players' needs, along with humorous takes on locations like Innistrad and Avishkar's tech.
Spring 2026 Q&A || TTC Ep593
Q: What is your favorite Commander bracket to play and why? Does that change when you're playing outside of business hours on stream, on stage, or in other venues?
The hosts discuss preferring bracket two for a balance of thematic creativity and competitive edge, noting it allows goofy, thematically rich decks without being overbearing, and they value the social, casual experience of Commander as a key reason they play. They also emphasize personal preference to keep it fun and accessible for friends.
