I found it to be deflating. It’s sometimes funny but I think it would make heaps of people feel defeated and disappointed in people around them for not understanding them. It doesn’t promote self-determination, only self pity.
These people obviously know what they’re talking about and the subject matter is really important. I just wish they would produce/edit the content because, to my ears at least, they really aren’t very funny. Dial down the bantz by about 80%… please. Things get going at about 8 minutes if you’re also struggling.
Bloody love this show! It's a serious subject approached with banter, personal anecdotes, and straight forward facts.
This hot mess (ding?) of a show is helping me stay sane while I navigate an Audult diagnosis for ADHD and ASD. I feel a fair bit of resonance with all 3 of the co-hosts. Thank you all for continuing to make this podcast and I will look into your newly launched book too!
Thank you for your authenticity. I’ve recently had 9 months off work suffering from burnout (GP wrote anxiety on sick note). Listening to you guys is the only time I feel “normal “ and validated.
