As a fellow neurodivergent person, I found this podcast to be an absolute gem. Sam and Katie's friendship shines through in every episode, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like you're sitting down for a cuppa with old friends. Their contrasting views on ADHD - Katie's optimism and Sam's pragmatism - offer a beautifully balanced perspective that resonates deeply with the rollercoaster experience of neurodivergence.
The main thing that turns me off this podcast is the constant references to ADHD being a super power. It’s not, it affects ND individuals in so many ways. For some people it can be completely crippling and it’s rather disrespectful to make a nothing of these struggles. It’s frankly crass.
It is such a wonderful insight and help for people (like myself) who are diagnosed with ADHD.
I am currently undiagnosed ADHD and am resolved to the fact that I will always be. I recognise myself in Katie and Sam and always feel more informed and less alone after listening to their show. The latest episode with Vicki George, although slightly depressing, has resonated and provides a strange sort of comfort that I am not the only one struggling for a diagnosis. more
I have just discovered this podcast and episode 1 is already speaking to me as I discover I had ADHD in my 40’s. The reluctance to accept it and the overwhelming feelings from realising there is a reason I am the way I am. Thank you
