- Great Narrator; fun story
This is a sci-fi adventure classic for many reasons and you can feel it’s influence through all of pop culture. It’s a delightful read and I often revisit it as a bedtime story for myself as I drift off.

This is a fantastic book and a wonderfully done production. It is free therefore the sound is not perfect but the gentleman's voice is fantastic, wish he had done the rest of the series. As literature goes this would not be compared to hardly any great works but in the Science-fiction genre it is a must read. Glad I stumbled on it and gave it a go.

If you're looking for great literature this isn't it...if you're looking for the inspiration for all space fantasy you have to start here. Everything from Flash Gordon to Star Wars and Avatar owe a debt to Edgar Rice Borroughs. He created the genre. Although he seems to take most from the classic Western all the tropes begin here. His prose is engaging, the plot stays in motion, the heroism is inspiring and he makes you want to come back for more. Do yourself a favor and listen to this classic.
