  • One of my favourite Podcasts!

This is one of my favourite podcasts to listen to. I love hearing all about the day to day lives of women just like me. It makes me feel so connected and less alone in the craziness of life & motherhood. We really are all in it together and going through similar things. I love that it’s just regular women talking too. Not that these women aren’t amazing and doing incredible things, they absolutely are! but it’s not a celebrity or high profile person whose life is definitely very different to min... more

  • The content I’ve been looking for!

This is such a good idea for a podcast! I’m constantly wondering how other moms make it work and what tips and tricks I could incorporate to make our days run more smoothly. A podcast is a perfect format for this. I love the questions Ellie asks and feel like the interviews are really well structured! The guest are all interesting.

  • Exactly what I was looking for!

I’ve long struggled to figure out how to structure my day. I am especially always curious about how women of all backgrounds (with kids, without kids, etc.) approach life and fitting everything in that they want to. Thank you for this wealth of knowledge; it’s inspired me to think differently and get ideas!

  • My all time favorite podcast!

As a full-time working mom, it can be hard to find other women who get it or just to feel like you aren’t alone. This podcast has been such a breath of fresh air and resource for me in the journey. I love all of Ellie’s questions and the variety of guests. I take something away from each episode. Thank you, Ellie!!!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 159: A Day In Her Life with Lydia Fenet - World's Leading Charity Auctioneer, Founder, Author, and Mom of 3 in NYC
Q: Lydia, how did you get into being an auctioneer and what led you down that path?
She fell into auctioneering after being inspired by Christie's, pursued internships aggressively, and eventually demonstrated a talent for live engagement that set her apart in a male-dominated field, leading to a long, successful career with many offshoots.
Episode 157: A Day In Her Life with Emilie Dayan Hill - High Net Worth Investment Advisor & Creator of Finance That Feels
Q: Emilie, for those who might not be familiar with you, can you fill us in on who you are, broadly what you do and what your household looks like?
I'm Emilie Dayan Hill, a French-American living in Atlanta, a partner at a large independent investment management firm, and a high net worth investment advisor. I'm married with two kids and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. We balance a two-location family routine with daycare, school, and my office, while keeping a focus on writing for Finance That Feels and family time.
Episode 149: A Day In Her Life with Hannah Pitner: Spanish Linguistics Professor and Language Business Co-Founder
Q: How do you balance work and family responsibilities, especially with a young child?
My partner and I split key tasks (laundry vs. dishes) and coordinate drop-offs; I focus on Lingua Viva while juggling university teaching, aiming for evenings that include family time and occasional walks.
Episode 149: A Day In Her Life with Hannah Pitner: Spanish Linguistics Professor and Language Business Co-Founder
Q: What time do you wake up and how do you structure your morning?
I aim to get up at 5:40 and be out of bed by 6, starting with a pour-over coffee, some quiet time for journaling, and a brief movement routine before getting ready.
Episode 152: A Day In Her Life with Kathryn Humphries - PR Consultant and Co-Founder of All You Need Method
Q: Kathryn, pivoting a little from your days, how did you get started in PR? Was it always something you knew you wanted to do when you graduated college, or was it kind of happenstance?
In college I studied marketing and interned in PR in New York, which led me toward a PR role rather than a traditional magazine path. A key moment was choosing to work with Carla, my now business partner, because I felt she would invest in my growth rather than just be a number in a corporate setting. This pivot set the stage for founding All You Need Method in 2020 and building a client-focused consultancy on top of that.
