This is a fun podcast filled with nostalgia. It helped me smiling and distracted through a horrible night of food poisoning so I can’t give it less than 5 stars.
The most recent episode was the absolute worst. Please do not have this woman on the podcast again. She’s awful. Too young.
.
Being the same age as Josh I have only recently discovered this podcast but so far loving the memories hearing all the old songs reminds me of- just need to find my hypercolour shirt and watch Family Matters while listening to it!
Great idea for a show and Josh and his guests are very amusing to listen to, have been listening to this non stop since I came around to it. Child of the 90s so hitting so many good spots
Im a music teacher and have been a music nerd my whole life. Always loved the 100% Hits. 10 is the first one I remember owning and playing to death. Love the deep dive this podcast give us. Josh is always great but has awesome guests from diverse backgrounds and occupations which makes the analysis fresh and interesting with each album!
This show has fast become one of my favourite all time podcasts. You’ll learn, you’ll laugh, you’ll have a very good time :)
Quickly became a fave
I LOVE the 100% Hits compilations and a few years back went and bought the ones I was missing on eBay. I was thrilled to see this podcast but listening has been a bit of a frustrating experience. The host is knowledgeable, but the guests… not so much. I’m up to ep 4 and it’s essentially like viewing the 90’s through the eyes of Gen Z/early millennials. The guests have very little to offer, most haven’t even heard of the songs mentioned and there’s no additional insights to be gleaned. A much bet... more
Stellar content and guests, can’t wait for the later albums to hit the feed
Yet another brilliant pod from Josh. Such a nostalgic journey back through the nineties.
I have fond memories of my 100% Hits volume 6 cassette and The Best of 100% Hits 93 was one of the first CDs I owned. From there I graduated to Hottest 100 compilations and the franchise was quickly forgotten – I’m impressed it only wound up four years ago. This is a fun podcast but I agree with another reviewer that it could be improved if guests were selected based on their age aligning with the volume being discussed.
I love this podcast - so many memories. I move it to the top of my playlist as soon as it comes out.
Love Josh and all his guests 👍 an easy enjoyable listen
Edit: I just *wish* the guests wouldn’t talk through the songs!
Good stuff
