Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Nell Debevoise Dewey: Doing Less on Purpose
Q: So now, aside from speaking and aside from writing this book, are you working with people one-on-one at this moment? Or how does that, how do people find you?
Currently I'm primarily engaging through my Substack as a subtraction laboratory, sharing writing and video content weekly, and coaching with horses is on the horizon for more direct work with individuals and teams when time allows.
Graham Kuhn: Every Role Was Leading Here
Q: What caused the shift from pursuing traditional paths in theater and music to building Focus Films and a coaching/production business?
The shift happened gradually as I realized I could combine storytelling, video, and coaching to help people share their authentic narratives. A series of experiences—church work, videography, and side projects—showed me there was a scalable, meaningful way to impact others while creating a flexible lifestyle for my family.
Dr. Kevin Snyder: The Story He Wished He'd Heard
Q: What prompted you to transition from a dream dean role to full-time speaking?
Realizing that leaving the dean position would allow me to reach more people, especially youth, with my message and experiences, turning a perceived loss into a larger opportunity to impact lives.
Dr. Kevin Snyder: The Story He Wished He'd Heard
Q: What did you think it meant to be a successful adult when you were younger?
I didn't feel mentally ready and imagined a path shaped by family influence and personal curiosity, ultimately discovering that success is more about finding a meaningful fit and helping others, rather than chasing externally defined titles.
Let Her Out - Natalie Siston on Clarity, Courage, and Career Change
Q: What role did Positive Intelligence play in your transformation?
Positive Intelligence provided practical mental fitness tools that created immediate, tangible changes in my life and work, including reduced stress, better decision-making, and a clearer sense of purpose, which together enabled me to build a coaching business and expand into speaking and authorship.
