  • Great ideas but privelege needs to be acknowledged

    It was the episode today where the ableist attitude that we all have the same 24hrs. We don’t. Oprah likely has one or all of the following, personal trainers, life coaches, chefs and chauffeurs. Ideas like this are harmful for those of us who don’t have the resources or capacity to outsource or start each day by just jumping out of bed. Disability, mental health, socio-economic status all contribute to start further and further back. Some of us do need more time, especially if transitions are h... more
