  • Warning to mums

I LOVE this podcast but mel speaks a lot about motherhood (rightly so). However Her circumstances are rare, wonderful and privileged, with the average mum in Australia not being a millionaire with a nanny and husband at home. Ofcourse we would all love to instill some of her ‘non negotiables’ but the truth is we are trying our best with what we have. So sending love to anyone listening feeling mum guilt because you can’t afford certain luxuries or use screens to survive sometimes.

  • Episode 686

Melissa in this episode seems a little out of touch. Not having to physically go out to work and having paid help come in and look after her children when required certainly makes life much easier. Dr Shefali was much more relatable, she went out to work, had her child in daycare, didn’t have extended family around and her child went to the local public school. Everything in moderation and being aware is the key.
