  • Unbiased & fun to listen to

This podcast features well researched topics relating to how we eat and why including recreational activities in these decisions is worth consideration. I feel good listening because the research is there, this is not opinion or gift based. I love listening and laugh a lot because these episodes truly feel like a conversation friends are having after going down a rabbit hole on the topic. A dream would be a combo episode with Maintenance Phase.

  • Great info!

I just started listening after hearing the recommendation on the Tread Lightly Pod. I am really enjoying all of the balanced, research-based information covered by YDS. They do tend to talk over each other which can make it a bit harder to follow the conversation, but it does have a friendly two friends chatting vibe that I enjoy!

  • Pop Tarts for LIFE

Love the podcast! I grew up in the 90s with diet culture and have loved hearing from these two. I now am not afraid to eat pop tarts and fuel my long runs - it’s been life changing. I appreciate all of the research they do for the podcast and look forward to new episodes.
