  • Love the podcast and the approach!

I love this podcast and the real world approach! Sharing so many real life experiences is tremendously helpful, because it allows listeners to find a story that sounds like them. This empowers people to know they can do it too. Not to mention….it shows there can be many ways to get the same result. It is never one size fits all.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

EP52: She Used Love Instead of Force to Quit Vaping - Sarah Grady
Q: What advice would you give to someone who's struggling right now?
Pause, breathe, and listen to the body; avoid force and shame, and instead cultivate inner safety and self-talk that affirms the person can handle what comes, moving step by step toward a life that aligns with their authentic self.
EP52: She Used Love Instead of Force to Quit Vaping - Sarah Grady
Q: What's your story with smoking and vaping?
She explains starting to smoke at 14, using nicotine to numb deep emotions, multiple quit attempts, a major life upheaval including a near-divorce, and a shift toward vaping during the pandemic before ultimately choosing a non-nicotine path and embracing breathwork and identity work to quit.
EP52: She Used Love Instead of Force to Quit Vaping - Sarah Grady
Q: Thank you for being here, Sarah. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Sarah Grady describes herself as an environment architect and pattern seer who creates The Unapologetic Mother Method, focused on creating conditions for change rather than forcing it, and helping people work with their bodies to feel safe enough to change.
EP63: How to Fill the Void After Quitting Smoking - Dawn Lucht
Q: What role did the Alan Carr book play in your quitting process?
It gave me the cognitive framework to understand withdrawal and helped me recognize that the emotional side would need more support than willpower alone, which led me to seek deeper inner work.
EP63: How to Fill the Void After Quitting Smoking - Dawn Lucht
Q: What sparked your decision to quit smoking, and how did you approach it initially?
A partner's ultimatum and reading a book by Alan Carr helped me see smoking as a crutch rather than a necessity, but the real work began after the physical withdrawal and focused on the emotional void that smoking had been filling.
