盧亮輝：「我寫完《春》，有個媽媽聽了很感動，就說好，老師，我三個孩子都交給國樂了。我那時候很感動，心想以後要多寫這種，能讓媽媽聽了也會感動的音樂。」
鄭立彬：「盧老師的作品，當年很多人都嫌難。就像柴可夫斯基的小提琴協奏曲，奧爾拿到譜就說，欸，這沒辦法演，太難了，可是現在每個拉小提琴的都一定要會。盧老師也是這樣，當年被嫌難，現在都成了經典。」
鍾永宏：「我認識老師快三十年。他的總譜打開來，像白開水一樣，沒有太多記號，因為他要的，是把二度創作的空間，整個留給後面的人。」

李再鈐：「我看了美國最新的低限主義，卻想到兩千多年前老子的《道德經》...道生一，一生二，二生三，三生萬物。我這才發現，你們最前衛的東西，跟我們最古老的東西，原來是一樣的。」
鄭惠珍：「我常講，不是我追著老師跑，是我被一個一百歲的人追著跑。他每天站著寫字、每天工作，從不要你跟著他的腳步，只說『你寫你想寫的、畫你想畫的』。遇到一個才華洋溢卻又這麼自由的老師，我實在太幸運了。」
