在上一集節目中，介紹了明末四大高僧之一的紫柏真可禪師。提到了紫柏真可禪師一生為佛教奉獻良多，不但力主刻印大藏經方冊，讓大藏經能夠廣為流傳，也為修復多處已荒廢，或被人侵佔的寺院而奔走。他為中國佛教的傳承延續費盡心力，卻在晚年飽受誣陷之苦，最後在獄中圓寂了。我們也提到了，紫柏真可禪師有一位法門摯友，那就是憨山德清禪師。他們不但一起受到法難的迫害，也一起為刻印大藏經而奔波，憨山大師還為紫柏真可禪師撰寫了塔銘，可見兩人情誼之深厚。
