Jason Concepcion is the GOAT of enthusiasm, nerdiness and humor. Ever since I heard his Binge Mode: Harry Potter podcast back in 2018 with the Ringer, he is my favorite pop culture podcaster.
Absolutely love this podcast to death! But I found Joelle to be acerbic and wildly negative about the fantastic four review. The round table list all balance and efficacy due to the overwhelming negativity of Joelle’s takes and tendency to not let anyone else speak or have a differing opinion. Only time I’ve ever been frustrated listening to this podcast.

I just want to say thank you to Aaron for representing the audience and offering some pushback for how ridiculous Joelle, and sometimes the other two, were being about fantastic 4. When he specifically pushed back like about the post credits scenes, thank you so much. How silly(or downright stupid) questions she was asking about other men or why he was there. It was all in the scene. So dumb. Standing ovation for Aaron. Need more of him.

I love listening to this pod — it is positive in ways that the Ringer-Verse pods are not (especially Charles Holmes). I’ve loved listening to Jason going back to his Ringer and Binge Mode days. My main criticism is that Rosie seems incapable of waiting for Jason to complete a thought. STOP INTERRUPTING HIM! That having been said, I’ve grown to enjoy listening to Rosie, although I take her opinions with a grain of salt when she’s talking about any show that deals with law enforcement issues. Ros... more
