Stumbled upon this podcast and was really interested in the episode from the description. but OH MY GOD the host is just screaming I actually couldn’t get more than 5 minutes into it. Disappointed.
The range of topics covered. The knowledge. I love. And yet, Rosie dominates every conversation. It’s too much. She just asked Jason a question, having talked forever to frame it, then Jason said one short sentence, and she interrupted him. Bummer.
Great to see Jason again after his time at the Ringer. I’m not a fan of his chemistry with Rosie, especially compared to his vibe with other female co-hosts, such as on the official game of thrones pod. I find that both hosts interrupt each other, but Rosie tends to do it to make detractive points while Jason does it to speed the show up. And Rosie please limit the excited shriek. It’s fun sometimes, but not every episode.
Rosie doesn’t add much, but it’s a fine review pod otherwise.
Love this show, but getting 9 minutes of ads on 13 minutes of content makes it practically unlistenable

Two hosts deliver energetic, nerd-culture focused recaps and commentary on films, TV shows, and comics, blending news, trailer reactions, and deep dives into genre storytelling. The show thrives on banter, enthusiasm, and a habit of connecting pop culture moments to broader fandom conversations. A recurring draw is the hosts' breadth of knowledge and their willingness to explore cross-franchise implications, with some episodes leaning into bold takes and speculative crossovers that attract a devoted, entertainment-loving audience.
