This has become my comfort podcast, and my favorite podcast ever. The earnest nature of the hosts, the brutal honesty and yet continuation to uplift hope, the way we get to actually follow through so much of their publishing processes by their sides and learn from it? It’s all amazing, and much-needed for writers like me in this stage of the process.

I recently discovered Write Where It Hurts and have already recommended it to several friends. If you’re a writer going through all the feels, this is the pod for you.
Write Where it Hurts has been my favorite companion to listen to these past months, when writing started to feel possible again. Soulful and true, each topic is approached with nuance, care, humor, and heart. I feel seen in a way few other writing podcasts have managed, and cannot wait for the conversations to come!

Their friendship and candor shines in each conversation and that draws the listener in and gets them emotionally invested (honestly I want to find them on Instagram and make them be my friends). The content is equal parts relatable, relevant... more
My new favorite writing podcast! I really appreciate all the honest, insightful discussion and have felt very seen and validated while listening to the first several episodes. Katryn and Eva’s conversations are warm and funny even as they delve into some tough topics, and they give me a lot to think about.
