I just listened to the one about perimenopause and understanding your cycle. I found it’s super helpful and delivered in a way that was really fun as well as informative. I’m looking forward to exploring more of the podcasts as well.

  • Stop singing

I like the content and think it’s very informative but her need to sing what she is saying is like learning health and fitness on Broadway. She’s very over the top sometimes like if your 5 year old daughter was performing for the family. I’m sure she’s a great person and this kind of personality will appeal to a lot of people but I just can’t with the dramatics

Pregnancy Fitness Myths Busted: What to Actually Do Before, During & After Baby | Ft. Coach Anna Hultgren
Q: Can I start working out when I'm pregnant if I've never exercised before?
Yes, start a routine during pregnancy, but understand it should be gradual and avoid extreme intensities; focus on safe progressions rather than pushing for marathon-like goals.
How to hit protein goals / Should I take Preworkout? : A Listener's Question's Ep!!
Q: Should I buy lifting straps when I'm new to lifting?
Lifting straps can be useful depending on your grip fatigue and goals, but grip strength remains important. Use straps if they help you progress safely without compromising form, and incorporate grip-strength work (like farmer's carries and dead hangs) to balance training.
How to hit protein goals / Should I take Preworkout? : A Listener's Question's Ep!!
Q: How do women get to 150 grams of protein a day?
Start with small, sustainable changes and increase gradually based on current intake; for many, front-loading protein at breakfast and adding protein to each meal can reach around 100–120 grams daily, with potential to move toward 150 by gradually increasing portions and choosing protein-rich options.
Hot Take: AI for Fitness & Nutrition Advice in Midlife
Q: Is AI a replacement for human coaches?
No. AI can educate and provide a starting framework, but real-time coaching and movement correction from a qualified trainer are essential, especially for beginners and midlife athletes who must protect tendons and joints.
Hot Take: AI for Fitness & Nutrition Advice in Midlife
Q: What are Claude's biggest cautions or pitfalls for new lifters using AI?
Don't treat AI output as fully personalized; AI lacks injury history, movement nuance, and real-time feedback. It struggles with teaching proper form and can push overly complex plans that are not suitable for beginners, risking injury and burnout.
