I absolutely appreciated the vulnerability and honesty that Shane displayed in this interview. It’s hard to keep the main thing the main thing in this results driven society that we live in but transformational coaching is where it’s at!
I really appreciate the content of this podcast. Justin Simpkins and Shane Sowden continually talk to current and relevant guests that bring knowledge and insight on a wide variety of topics around sport.
From nutrition to high-performance to mental health to coaching to parenting to good habits to healthy team culture if you’re looking for a practical and relevant sport podcast this is a great place to start!
I found this podcast so motivating and relatable on many levels much more than just Coaching. All sports are so much more than a game. Developing athletes who are the hands and feet of Jesus is the ultimate goal. When you can impact others to embody their best selves by bringing honour and glory to the King, that’s when you will see the greatest success! Looking forward to more of season 2!
Great way to start the year ! Very meaningful and helpful discussion. Just finished episode 39. Appreciated Shane’s heart and vulnerability as he shared his own journey as a man and as a coach!
I absolutely loved this podcast; I was super engaged the whole time; There were many relatable stories and situations that resonated with me. It also had me reflecting on my own personal story, got me emotional at times, and left me motivated on many different levels. Thanks for sharing Shane Sowden. I look forward to more Grit and Growth podcasts
