  • Best Sports Talk Duo in Vancouver

Thank god they are back, 650 Sportsnet afternoon show puts me to sleep and others don't compare to Sekeres and Price

Just wish Sekeres wouldn't constantly talk over his guests and co-host.

  • Last time I listen

It’s a shame with this podcast’s ongoing racism and discrimination towards Russians & Russian born hockey players. I tune in to listen about Vancouver Canuck, hockey. I understand that Canada doesn’t have free speech and if they want to be on the radio, they have to walk the pro Ukraine line. You lost a long time listener.

  • John Shannon interview

Wow! A new low for Sekeres. He actually said he hoped Ovechkin shredded his ACL and ended his career. That’s a worse than usual jerk comment from a guy who makes them regularly.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Cam Robinson: Updates from the combine in Buffalo. Are the Ruck twins really worth it?
Q: Why did the Canucks take Gavin McKenna to dinner, and what could that imply about their draft strategy?
Cam explains that dinner meetings are used as a way to build a 'book' on players for long-term evaluation and potential future trades, suggesting McKenna being taken to dinner signals the Canucks are actively gathering intel and possibly exploring all options at three.
Nolan Perry: Blue Jays pitching prospect hopes to follow the Trey Yesavage path from the Nat to the big leagues!
Q: You've had an injury-filled path with Tommy John and a long rehab. Can you walk us through what that process looked like and how you stayed motivated?
He recounts the gradual return from surgery, the MRI confirming the tear, and the extensive rehab that rebuilt strength over 18 months, stressing the importance of consistency and patience in his training and recovery.
Nolan Perry: Blue Jays pitching prospect hopes to follow the Trey Yesavage path from the Nat to the big leagues!
Q: It's our pleasure to welcome Nolan Perry to the program. Nolan, how are you feeling and what has this season been like so far?
Perry shares that he's feeling good, enjoying the opportunity to compete and appreciates the support from teammates and fans as he adapts to the Canadian league environment and continues to develop his pitching.
June 10 2026: Do the Canucks need the pick to play? Babs back? Canada roster turmoil
Q: What is Hart Levine's view on the Canucks' cap situation and who could be a smart one-year add for depth?
Levine emphasizes opportunistic one-year deals and potential under-the-radar signings that can be flipped at the deadline for assets, given the rising cap and the need to balance asset collection with team-building.
Steven Ellis: Updates from the NHL combine. Debate over the #2 and #3!
Q: Which center would Vancouver consider with their second pick?
Caleb Malholtra is frequently cited as a top center option, potentially the best overall center in the class, making him a likely target if Vancouver holds or trades into an ideal position.
