I am new to podcasts. I was looking for an alternative for Canucks talk after 650 closed. (Rogers Sucks) I was looking forward to checking out, Donnie and Dhali - The Team. I figured since it was the first time back for the show, for the start of the season the show would have a lot to reflect on and come out strong for the consumers of their content. Don Taylor is the preeminent sports broadcaster and journalist in BC. He is a fountain of knowledge, and you’re doing yourself a disservice if you’re a Canucks fan who doesn’t listen to what he has to say. That being said, this show suffers from the same issues that almost all sports talk shows do. Tired and repetitive gags, self righteous hosts who believe everything they say is objective truth, and a pervasive “back in my day” attitude. Rick seems to be regressing. So impatient and rude way more than necessary. Dial it back big guy…world does not revolve around you. You are not helping your team to be great.
