There has not been one millisecond of my life over the past 3 years in which I even thought about the movie Cats. I loathe ALW's style, so I've never seen the play either. But here I am, at the dawn of 2023, seriously planning to watch this nightmare fuel. All due to Cammy Jimjams and Bennyellynot Ellwood. I don't know whether to thank them or curse them, but I enjoyed this podcast SO MUCH that I simply must watch the film.
I’m on my second listen through the show. Does that mean I’ll watch the movie again? Is this really happening? What is happening to me. Quizzical cats.
Does the CATS movie really warrant several hours of podcasting? Cameron James and Ben Russell certainly think so, and will likely convince you before the first episode is anywhere near finished. I don’t know what’s more baffling, how and why this movie was made, or the fact I willingly dived ears first into this K(ats)-hole exploring a movie I haven’t even seen. A frustratingly enjoyable listen.
thank you
