  • Intelligent but denies trans folks

I listened to a few episodes of this podcast referenced in the Medicine Stories podcast. Clearly I have been living in a bubble because I didn’t think younger people like the host of this podcast denied the existence of trans folks and their right to live as they are. It’s really hard for me to listen to the other intelligent discourse because of this. I won’t be listening again.

I live in Peru and there are no midwives where I am/in my town and I’ve felt the call for a while to be that woman for my community. But/and I am a mom and it is just as much â calling as birth work and don’t want to sacrifice my relat... more
