  • Excellent

When I think of podcasts that have truly shifted the way I think about something, this one comes to mind. Loved the latest episode about fairy tales. Well done!

  • Wrong

Louise is wrong about laws in the USA. You are required to have a fence around your pool and bicycle helmets are required for children. Do research better 😊

  • Unconvincing

Do you suppose that maybe, when she gets home, Perry pulls on the dungarees and heads off to her socialist book club? Nothing about her “trad” persona is convincing. Thin, indefensible positions on “Anglo” superiority, advanced by someone who can easily see the other side of the argument. Indifference to children and to (real-life) mothers. It’s a fab moneyspinner, of course: will pay for plenty of blue hair dye in retirement.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Children should read fairytales | Maiden Mother Matriarch 207
Q: How do you see the role of Christianity in shaping fairy tales and modern narratives?
Christian symbolism has deeply influenced fairy tales, and the Christian story provides a unifying framework that helps explain archetypes and transformations seen across myths, scriptures, and modern media.
Children should read fairytales | Maiden Mother Matriarch 207
Q: What can conservatives learn about the margin and the center to improve their approach to storytelling and culture?
Conservatives should understand the function of the margin and the value of change, while progressives should understand the center and stability; recognizing these dynamics can prevent extreme disruptions and preserve social cohesion.
Children should read fairytales | Maiden Mother Matriarch 207
Q: Do you think that progressivism is inherently self-destructive due to its carnival-like nature at the center?
There are two sides to progressivism: a carnival/deconstructive aspect and a tyrannical, centralized aspect. The danger is when either overtakes the other; balance with center stability is necessary to prevent collapse or tyranny.
How multiculturalism really works | Maiden Mother Matriarch 201
Q: How do you view the possibility of assimilation over time, given current trends?
The guest suggests that muscular liberal assimilation is unlikely in the near term and that minority communities may increasingly maintain distinct identities, which could push institutions toward accommodating more autonomous community governance rather than full assimilation.
How multiculturalism really works | Maiden Mother Matriarch 201
Q: What do you see as the most urgent policy steps to stabilize the voting population and citizenship dynamics in Britain?
The guest argues for extending the ILR window and delaying citizenship for many who arrived under temporary labor provisions, to push back the 2029 elections window and give time for clearer integration pathways and policy clarity.
