Usually a fan of the show but this Mamdani debate was terrible. Agenda and spin on both sides, talking over each other, very little substance, mostly/all political operative talking points. Also, Ross is the most condescending person I’ve ever heard utter words in the English language. Just embarrassing all around.
Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Freddie, you can't refuse to have someone on your show, only to ask another guest their thoughts on what they say/think/believe. And insisting on using the pejorative "anti-vaxxer" to describe RFK, Jr. at this point is completely dishonest.
Superb episode about the existence of God - please organise an event to discuss this topic further!
Regretfully, I rather must agree that Freddy spoils the show with his highly selective tendency to grovel before—and proffer only the most performative of pushbacks against—left-of-centre ideology. (I’d much prefer that he be equally sceptical towards all sides.) Considering Freddy’s bien-pensant takes and frequent pearl-clutching, he feels like a bad fit for a publication that claims to be heterodox. I’m sure he is a perfectly nice chap, but employing him as a host undermines any of UnHerd’s su... more

Likewise, Pinker declined multiple offers to comment on the way leftwing elites have stifled free spe... more
