I am a big fan of the boys, this podcast has really stirred my passion for whisky. So much so, I have started going through the old episodes thoroughly enjoying them. I have also actually learned so much and really recommend being a fully paid up Patreon as I really enjoy (and look forwards to) receiving the reviewed drams every month.
Was recently put onto this Poddy by a very well known Tasmanian Whisky Distiller and have spent many hours going through their 10+ year collection of episodes.
Nick and Ted bounce off each other so well and provide a combination of entertainment and education.
Highly recommend subscribing to Whisky Waffle and learning about Whisky with something of a focus on Tassie Whiskies, but not just limited to what that amazing region is producing.
Look forward to another 10 years of easy listening.
Informative and with improved backlist Used the musings of the lads for my recent tourism spend in Tassie, my home collection choices and my drive home. Whisky podcasts are rare. Imbibe!
Such a great podcask. Very funny as well as being informative. But I wish I never found your podcask. Becasue of 1 word Sheene. Elixir Of life. But I find a website called Horny Pony and I was able to buy 5x30 ml samples of Sheene Elixir of life. And d... more
Very engaging, and informative about Aus whisky scene. There is a bias towards TAS whisky, but if it where 2 Scot’s being bias towards Scotch a second thought wouldn’t be given. A good solid performer of a podcast.

Two Tasmanian hosts riff about whisky with playful banter, deep dives into regional scene and tasting notes, and a healthy mix of travel, design chatter, and industry chatter. Episodes frequently touch on Tasmanian distilleries, packaging/design trends, and the broader Australian whisky landscape, all delivered with humor and relatable, off-the-cuff commentary. Noteworthy is the show's strong local flavor, frequent guest-free discussions, and audience engagement through Patreon and merch-like shout-outs, which together create a casual yet knowledgeable vibe that appeals to whisky nerds who crave regional focus and entertaining riffs as much as tasting detail.
Potential listeners should expect approachable whisky appreciation, tasmanian-cen... more
