  • Incredibly Helpful

    I discovered this podcast in 2020 via an episode on online dating, which was incredibly helpful for me at the time as I was walking through my own app dating journey. Shortly after, I met the partner whom I ended up marrying three years later. Having grown up with some purity culture messaging, the episodes helped me navigate so many questions I had about dating, relationships, and how we could define what living a Christian life means. It helped me figure out how to have a healthy relationship.... more

    I was skeptical that there would be enough to talk about but purity culture and its fallout provides plenty of fodder. Devi (and Jess) is smart, asks thoughtful questions, and provides a critical lens that really allows the listener to draw their own conclusions.

David Bennett regarding Andy Stanley sermon was traumatizing and disturbing. I wish I would have heeded your warning.
