Like the people here, I’ve felt marooned and homeless the past two years after decades organising on the left. The fact that ‘the left’ can’t recognise the most dangerous and comprehensive attack on the working class when it stares them in the face has been awful to see. Thanks for daring to put this out.

What great mix of ingredients to this salad of political ideas. These guys are courageously expanding the dialogue on the political left which is VERY MUCH NEEDED. Two transplants to San Francisco, Ca, two activists, two friends, two former colleagues of the same SFUSD Union... taking on an experimental YouTube/Podcast challenge as citizen sociopolitical critics that have taken their café political discussions to an archaic living room couch. Their different styles and points of view are what I ... more

Emanuel Pastriech & US Elections: Which Way to Revolution?
Q: So you're saying he's not quite a Marxist. Is this an incrementalist approach?
No, I see it as kind of a broad anti-systemic approach. Emanuel Pastriech recognizes that the system is not legitimate and wants to open up questioning along those lines, but he could take a stronger working-class power perspective.
Emanuel Pastriech & US Elections: Which Way to Revolution?
Q: Can you just tell people about your background that might be helpful for them to understand why you might be supporting this?
Sure. I've been in the socialist movement for quite a while, maybe 15 years, previously part of socialist organizations like ISO and Socialist Alternative, which I left partly due to their support for Democrats, and I joined the Workers' League about seven or eight months ago, particularly focused on anti-lockdown activism.
