I’m a Florida native and have a love/hate relationship with the state I call home. This podcast perfectly feeds into my “complicated” relationship with my home. Cannot recommend it enough!
Essential listening for new Floridians and for Florida natives.
Not only do they give you fun facts, they bring you back to hurricanes and validate the PTSD you may have from them. I was too far North for Andrew, but went through the eye of Wilma and will never forget the sound and the after effects. Used to love a good storm, lol. Great pod for a native a or recent transplant who needs to hear what we actually deal with!
From 4th grade through college I was educated in Florida, and learned almost nothing about the state or our country from anything but a white male perspective. I appreciate that they are telling these stories. We can’t move forward if we can’t be honest about our history.
As a native, this podcast is the best! Craig provides knowledge and humor for us natives!!
