  • Thanks (weird medieval )guys!

I listen this podcast since the beginning would recommend almost every episode ( except the ones with audio issues I couldn’t finished myself).

Always fun, instructive and prompts to make the listener follow their thinking without losing anyone.

And as french, language episodes was a joy partly thanks to the confirmation that the French Academy is internationally ridiculed 🤝 Those old shmucks deserved it.

  • Podcast perfection

One of my all time favorite history podcasts because it presents history how I’d want history to be presented to me. The conversational approach filled with humor is absolutely perfect. Love Aran’s accents, and Olivia’s laugh!

  • Weird? Yes. That’s good.

It’s weird, it’s nerdy, it’s academic, I love this pod. It sounds like two doctoral students in medieval studies talking about the thing they love most, and I am there for it. It’s not slick and it runs long sometimes and it’s great!

  • This is great!

Wading through a sea of slick vapid pop history medieval podcasts trying to find something worthwhile, I accidentally stumbled onto this one to my great joy. This podcast is just delightful, funny, quirky, and at the same time deeply founded in facts and real knowledge by people who just know their stuff. Plus they are just a riot. All stars and thumbs up!
