Kate does a great job
This is a great podcast for all you history pervs (or history perv-curious). It comes out every week. The conversations are always great. The host, Kate Lister—whom I believe I read somewhere has a PhD—had all the bona fides and her guests know their stuff. Her vibe is very informal and ready to laugh. I mean, isn’t that the most important criteria listening to a podcast like this?
I have been listening for a year and am hooked. Great topics, wonderful guests, and lively conversation. I can always count on learning something new and enjoying Kate’s wit.
Both thoroughly enjoyable and informative, every topic is brilliant and easily explored for us non-academics. this is a podcast for the girlies (and others) who loved history growing up but would skip over the war section and go straight to the history of makeup, fashion, scandals, and relationships. more
