Really enjoyable, fun and accessible book and writers podcast series. It’s a great celebration of established and new writers, best-sellers, lit festivals and quirky new discoveries and the pod doesn’t take itself too seriously.
I love listening to We’d Like a Word. Having two presenters works so well. They look at books from different angles and always have unique questions to ask.
A fun and friendly stroll through the world of books and writing. From scene setting to writing non-fiction, Paul and Stevyn are the perfect hosts and are great at getting the best out of their guests. Always informative and never dull. I preferred it when the episodes weren’t split up though..
Astute and considerate coverage of bookish byways. Particularly welcome in these lockdown times.
Two writing men discuss words and stuff.
Helpfully, they have different accents — so you can tell them apart.
They are witty, insightful, wise, and fascinating.
But who would put an apostrophe in a podcast title?
That’s just clear madness.
