  • GOOD BUT LONG EPISODES

Great information and enjoyable but they go on too long on many subjects. The regular podcast is usually a hour plus and their #10MinTalk averages 45 min to over a hour. Tightning up the scripts and a bit less rambling would make this a better show.

  • They're kind of all the same

Show got boring for me. Episodes are pretty much the same. Also, it would be cool if Ryan says he doesn't know something rather than making stuff up. It's ok if you don't know everything. I promise.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 449 | How to Choose the Right Hunting Shelter | Argali Founder Brad Brooks Explains
Q: Do you ever recommend a hot tent setup with a stove?
Yes, most tents are stove-compatible with a removable stove jack; if you run a stove, you'll trade some space and may convert a four-person tent into a two-person setup once the stove is installed.
Ep. 449 | How to Choose the Right Hunting Shelter | Argali Founder Brad Brooks Explains
Q: What are the main differences between the two-person and four-person shelters in terms of weight and space?
The two-person tent is significantly lighter, but the four-person option offers more space and flexibility to add people or gear, and can still be a viable choice for those who want to carry more gear or plan for longer trips.
Ep. 449 | How to Choose the Right Hunting Shelter | Argali Founder Brad Brooks Explains
Q: So what time of year are you going to hunt and where do you hunt mostly?
Brad suggests starting with the most common use-case, then choosing a shelter size and features that fit that scenario, like weight-sensitive two-person options for solo hunts or larger four-person tents for base camps.
#10MinuteTalk | Drawing from Concealed and More with Pro Shooter Hunter Constantine
Q: Number one, what is the basic equipment a person needs to draw from concealed?
The bare minimum is a belt, a holster, and a gun; optimally you want all three, but the essentials are belt to secure the holster and weapon when drawing.
Ep. 447 | You Don't Have to Be Rich to Hunt International | Nick Hoffman
Q: How should someone approach booking an international hunt to maximize success and minimize risk?
Be clear about budget and goals, vet outfitters, use references, and consider travel days and buffer time to acclimate; stay flexible and let outfitters guide the planning.
