This show gets me excited! I love authentic hunting and shooting talk in the way that JVB and his guests present it. I can hear emotion and excitement that reinvigorates some of my own. Real-world DIY backcountry hunting requires extreme adaptability and skills to cover as many scenarios as possible (and then some). This podcast details this and is just outright enjoyable to me! Great Job sir!!
This podcast is usually really informative and a joy to listen to. However, JVB recently had a discussion decrying those who use smaller cartridges/calibers for hunting large game. He then simultaneously promoted ultra long range hunting (700+). I found that to be a pot calling the kettle black point of view.
