Horrible podcast. Tons of misinformation. My advice take off apple podcasts
The Viking era is culturally prominent now, but public understanding of the Vikings is horribly outdated and based on inaccurate stereotypes. This podcast does a great job of addressing the misconceptions and misinformation about Viking age conceptions of gender in a way that's accessible to non academics.
So much false information, but whatever floats your boat.
After only listening to the first episode, I have high hopes for the podcast as a whole. Interesting descriptions and content which is evidence based. It shows that Amy Jefford Franks has a deeper knowledge about the topic.

chock-ful of information and even spoken old norse. super cool

Gender and sexuality in history are generally far more complex than most people would think, and the topic is severely under discussed. This podcast takes a dive into the viking age to discuss queerness and sexuality. It’s a fascinating listen and I hope she continues the podcast!
Love the analysis and the humour and the insight! Great podcast
I love hearing how gay the vikings were. Can't wait for more!
