The whole mentor program needs a bit of a rework.
Anyone person casually playing a tank or healer can easily get enough commendations to become a mentor.
The story itself is quite cathartic, but also evocative emotionally.
However, when we start looking at the threads of fate we start to understand that everything in game in done with particular aspect and perspectives in mind.
