Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

How spirituality supported our recovery (with Lola)
Q: How did you fall into spirituality and how did that help your recovery?
Lola describes initially feeling spirituality as a gradual, intuitive pull rather than a forceful change, with yoga and personal development opening doors. Over time, practices like meditation, positive affirmations, and viewing pain as part of a larger collective experience helped reframe recovery as a connected, purposeful journey.
The Truth About Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro: Why GLP-1 Drugs Are Dangerous, and Catastrophic If You Have an Eating Disorder
Q: What is the practical advice for someone currently restricting or facing relapse triggers due to GLP-1 use?
Acknowledge the trigger, prioritize nourishment, and use compassionate self-talk while engaging in nervous-system regulation and inner-work to address the underlying causes rather than relying on suppression.
The Truth About Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro: Why GLP-1 Drugs Are Dangerous, and Catastrophic If You Have an Eating Disorder
Q: Could you possibly do a one-on-one talk on a nervous system and how it relates to EDs?
The nervous system is central to recovery; healing involves bringing awareness to the body, learning to listen to hunger signals, and integrating somatic practices so the body feels safe rather than dominated by thoughts.
Juicy AF Q&A
Q: OCD with a binge eating disorder, can this be overcome?
Yes, you can overcome binge eating disorder even with OCD; addressing root trauma and nervous system regulation is crucial, not treating them as separate issues, and the healing work should address both at the same time.
Juicy AF Q&A
Q: The first question, how to know if I should eat intuitively or continue following the meal plan?
If you cannot trust yourself to eat unrestrictedly without a meal plan, the plan is serving as a stepping stone toward freedom; you should aim to eat unrestrictedly when your body signals true hunger and you are mentally ready to follow hunger and intuition.
