They’re both admirably truly, fully recovered and provide incredibly helpful insights and practical tips into the recovery experience. Certainly plenty to learn from them plus they’re lovely people to boot. Easy, digestible, 15 min episodes. Good for a little boost when you need it.
I am a mother of two teens struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating. We’ve been in recovery for 4 1/2 years. Last evening, my daughter and I listened to your most recent episode. She acknowledged that she can hear the voice and cannot yet place into action (her words based on listening to your podcast) the opposite action. Short, highly practical conversations about eating disorder recovery, with episodes averaging 15 minutes. Two hosts share evidence-based basics (unconditional permission to eat, recovery-focused responses to hunger, and gradual behavior changes) while fielding listener questions on hunger, food choices, body image, and staying resilient through non-linear recovery. A standout pattern is the emphasis on routine, support networks, and compassionate self-talk, plus a clear stance against perfection. Noteworthy is the hands-on, action-oriented approach that blends personal experiences with actionable strategies, making complex recovery topics approachable for listeners at various stages of healing.
