  • Lies

Either they don’t understand financial laws or they’re just trying to to get people to buy their products. For instance, if an insurance company goes out of businesses, no, you don’t lose all your money. There are laws in place to protect insurance policies.

Cross says AI helps the team quickly research information on specific sources such as IRS.gov and take meeting notes, while emphasizing that prompts and outputs must be checked because AI can produce inaccurate information.
5 Common Financial Planning Questions
Q: How much money do I need to retire, or do I have enough money to retire?
Cross recommends using a detailed financial plan based on retirement spending, cash flow, income sources, account types, market fluctuations, and the desired length of retirement, rather than relying only on rules of thumb.
How We Pick Stocks: Falcon's CIO on AI, Earnings, and Market Risks
Q: Can you explain that to our audience? What goes into you guys finding a name to add to the portfolio?
Hanlon says the team first checks portfolio and style diversification, then considers sector exposure, revenue and earnings growth, operating margins, debt, management, and the track record of acquisitions.
How We Pick Stocks: Falcon's CIO on AI, Earnings, and Market Risks
Q: How much weight do you have on these earnings reports when you're looking to add a company or remove a company from our portfolio?
Hanlon says the team does not make short-term trades around earnings or try to predict beats. It evaluates holdings with a long-term time horizon.
Does Spending Drop in Retirement? Here's What We Found
Q: So number one here, Cory, Roth conversions. Are they genius or is it actually overhyped? What are your thoughts on this?
Roth conversions can be smart but are highly situational; they require ongoing tax planning and should not be treated as a universal solution. The decision depends on future tax rates, longevity, and whether there are sufficient dollars outside the IRA to cover the taxes.
