Poverty Flats is a great place to raise children. I should know, my husband and I have raised 7 there! Come meet Al, his twin brother Fred, the “trio of trouble”, the youngest two, the cousins and some of the in-laws, on all sorts of adventures and learning experiences. Some may be true and some vvveerrryy stretched! But lots of fun stories just the same.

Connor’s story telling is dynamic and is sure to bring a smile, if not a chuckle to you. It’s always fun to see what he tells next. If you grew up in the country you can probably relate to most of his experiences in one way or another.

I love the detail and figurative language of these hilarious real-life inspired short stories! I especially like the stories about the twice-bothered hornets and the glass door.
