Great way to broaden your mind, listening to articulate people talk about how they love something you might not like. Helps to see where other people are coming from.
This podcast was great, wish it was still going.
I believe very strongly that it is important to question one's assumptions, and this show is an excellent example of something that helps me to do just that. It takes pieces of pop culture on which the general consensus is either derision or an indifferent shrug and has people on to talk about why they love those things. My only regret is that it appears to have had its plug pulled before they could do an episode about pro wrestling or the TV show "Teen Titans Go!"
Good podcast, if the feminism and liberal aspects were left out it would be 100% better. A lot of us listen to podcasts like this to get away from that garbage.
Fun podcast sharing people’s love for things against the orthodoxy , entertaining host
